Finding Your B2B Audience on Twitter

Adam Holden-Bache wrote an excellent article on socialmediab2b on how to find your B2B audience on Twitter. Adam gives a great overview on how to find and listen to industry experts on Twitter-–in 6 steps.  You need to read the article but here’s a quick preview:

Use Buzzom to search Twitter Bios

a. Visit Buzzom.com. Login with your Twitter account and leave the default “Bio” boxed checked under the search field.

b. Search on a keyword or phrase. Or better yet, search for a position or title of a person that usually buys your products or services. Use quotes for an exact phrase match (i.e. “Customer Service Manager”).

c. Review and follow those in the returned results. You can also bulk follow by selecting ALL.

Awesome and easy-to-read overview! Go read the rest of the article, 6 Steps to Find Your B2B Audience on Twitter over on Social Media B2B.

Thanks for including the link to the post as I had not heard of #6 with mass following people with a hashtag. Buzzom is a good service for finding people. Some of my other favorites include Listorious and Social Mention. I've also started leaning towards the lists that other users are creating since they are hand-picked accounts and typically are very relevant to the list name.

I also really, really love TweepML to find new, targeted followers – but it's kind of a well-kept secret!

Just when I was feeling good about my involvement )previous post of yours I find out there are more steps for me to follow. I think I can handle 6 though and I definitely need to get more info on my audience. Thanks again Michelle.
