Oh my gosh, I am so checking it out. And if it works with Gist I'll be even more amazed at it! BTW, I didn't realize you were speaking at the event. (though I did see your #blissdom tweets on Friday).

Yup, VV, it's the same thing. Bump is probably cooler - at least I think so. I didn't realize there was one for anything but the iPhone, so will have to explore. But you are right - if "everyone" doesn't have it/one, etc., won't work. But someday soon, maybe that will change :)

This sounds similar to the "Bump" app available on both the iphone and the android platform. Just "bump" your devices together after activating the app on each phone and the users contact information is stored in your device. Too bad its only useful for those who have devices on those platforms though.

Erroin,

Cherry's comment made me LOL too. She's a nut. And I agree. Buying from and supporting friends is key - whenever possible. Thanks for the read, my friend. Hope all is well.

Shelly,

Enjoy your trip to Tennessee. I love your comment in this post about buying from friends. That is what doing business in any market space is about, helping friends in need. All things being equal, you buy from friends. All thing being unequal, you buy from friends. Have a safe trip.

PS - Cherry's comment made me laugh out loud.
